David Hurst
David K. Hurst is a management educator, consultant, and reflective practitioner whose career began as a manager in challenging organizational settings that shaped his ideas about leadership, change, creativity, and learning. He views organizations as ecosystems and as an integrative thinker, he has spent more than three decades developing and teaching these ideas worldwide.
His articles have appeared in leading business publications. His books include Crisis & Renewal: Meeting the Challenge of Organizational Change (Harvard Business School Press, 1995; paperback 2002) and The New Ecology of Leadership: Business Mastery in a Chaotic World (Columbia University Press, 2012; paperback edition). He holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago and a BA in Psychology from the University of the Witwatersrand.
