Joseph Fuller
Joseph Fuller is a Professor of Management Practice at Harvard Business School and co-leads its "Managing the Future of Work" initiative. He is a leading authority on workforce strategy, the "skills gap," and the "hidden workers" crisis. Before HBS, he spent 30 years as the co-founder and CEO of the consultancy Monitor Group (now Monitor Deloitte), advising executives on strategy and national competitiveness. His research identifies how automated hiring inadvertently excludes millions of qualified candidates and provides frameworks for onboarding AI agents. Professor Fuller co-hosts the Managing the Future of Work podcast and chairs the Board at Western Governors University. A frequent Harvard Business Review contributor, his recent work explores the "Expertise Upheaval" and the shift from asset-centric to human-centric thinking.
